The Conductrices de camions project, with its 10% goal, is aiming to increase the number of female heavy truck drivers significantly over the next three years. Along with its main partners, Camo-route is working to identify and eliminate the barriers that prevent more women from entering the trucking industry in Quebec.
The Enriched Program for Access to Driving Heavy Vehicle makes it possible for young drivers with a probationary licence to obtain a Class 1, 2 or 3 driver’s licence more quickly and safely.
